Lieke Martens brings Paris Saint-Germain closer to CL group stage with goal Dutch football

The football players of Paris Saint-Germain have won the first match in the second preliminary round of the Champions League, partly thanks to a goal by Lieke Martens. In Paris it became 2-1 against the Swedish Häcken.

Martens opened the score in the 14th minute from a corner. The player who exchanged FC Barcelona for the club from Paris this summer, started in the base just like compatriot Jackie Groenen who came over from Manchester United this month and made her debut for the Parisian club. PSG could not enjoy the lead for long. Ten minutes later Marika Bergman-Lundin equalized for the Swedish team.

In the final phase of the second half it still became 2-1 for PSG. Kadidiatou Diani scored the second goal for the Martens and Groenen team in the 86th minute. That was also the final score.

The teams will play the second game in Sweden next Wednesday. The winner of two matches qualifies for the group stage.
