Social celebrity and reality TV star Luisa Kremleva has received a six-month suspended prison sentence and substantial fines after she falsely claimed that footballer Theo Hernandez raped her. The alleged rape took place in 2017 in Malaga, Spain, but the country’s judiciary only published the verdict now. The proceedings were hindered, among other things, by the sudden disappearance of Kremleva’s lawyer citing “illness” in the middle of the trial.
