Liam Gallagher adopts abandoned puppy in Thailand

Liam Gallagher rescued a dog from a Thai animal shelter. After applying to rescue the dog via a Google form, “Buttons” was allowed to make the long journey from Thailand to London.

Niall Habrison runs a small dog shelter on the Thai island of Koh Samui. The dog Buttons was abandoned in the jungle without food until she was given accommodation in Niall’s home and slowly regained her strength. She stayed there for about three months until the Oasis musician’s application was successful.

Accompanied by Niall Habrison, Buttons was allowed to undertake a 10,000 km journey to her new owner in London. “To say she was happy when she arrived would be an understatement. She immediately made friends with all the people and also with the cats,” says the home owner about her trip. He also captured this on video and shared a message of thanks to Liam Gallagher on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
