Top striker Victor Boniface leaves the Bundesliga. According to reports from TV broadcaster Sky and sports magazine “Kicker”, he changes from Bayer Leverkusen to Al-Nassr. The transfer fee should be almost 70 million euros.
After “Sky” had already reported on the early Tuesday evening that Boniface moved to the World Star Cristiano Ronaldo club, the “Kicker” confirmed this later. According to the medium, the German champion from Leverkusen and the Saudi top club agreed on a transfer fee “near 70 million euros”.
This is intended to lie over the previously rumored “over 60 million euros”. Although no transfer contracts have yet been drawn up, there is an oral agreement between the two clubs.
According to Sky and “Kicker”, Boniface has also successfully completed the medical check at Al-Nassr after being missing from Leverkusen’s Champions League game at Sparta Prague on Tuesday. According to Sky, Boniface will earn 15 million euros net at AL-NASSR.
Boniface came to Leverkusen in the summer of 2024 from the Belgian first division Union Saint-Gilloise for a transfer fee of almost 22 million euros. In his first season in the Rhineland, he shot the “Werkelf” with 14 goals for the championship.
