“I have been living with my husband and three children in Venhuizen for 10 years now,” says Leonie. “When the oldest went to school, I thought my world would get bigger, but nobody spoke with each other in the schoolyard. I want people to seek a connection and then I started organizing everything, such as a knitting café, historical walks and lunches, because eating.”
