Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most famous actors in the world. But at an event in Ibiza he was initially not recognized by the police. The 49-year-old Oscar winner visited an exclusive Tequila party on the Spanish island.

When entering, he had to undergo routine security control by the local police. An insider told the US portal “Page Six” that every person had been scanned and identity had been checked. DiCaprio also introduced himself to an official from the Guardia Civil. However, he did not give his information any faith. Only when the actor showed his ID could his identity be confirmed.
Summer vacation with obstacles
The incident occurred shortly before midnight. According to eyewitnesses, Leonardo DiCaprio remained left in Ibiza during control. He showed his documents cooperatively and waited for around 20 minutes until he could go on. The actor was accompanied by his girlfriend, the Italian model Vittoria Ceretti. The couple currently spend summer in Europe. Even after the check, the actor continued the evening and is said to have celebrated until the early hours of the morning.
Tour through Europe
The stay on the Balearic Island is part of a longer journey. Already in June DiCaprio was together with Ceretti in Italy. There they took part in the multi-day celebrations for the wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. They were seen in Venice at the end of June.
Two weeks ago, the couple also spent time with Bezos and Sánchez on board the entrepreneur’s mega yacht. The trip led them along various destinations in the Mediterranean. Despite the police control in Ibiza, Leonardo DiCaprio continued his vacation in Ibiza undisturbed.
