Legends of BVB and FC Schalke 04 start manager training

The two former internationals Gerald Asamoah and Roman Weidenfeller belong to the third year of the “Management in Professional Football” program.

At the beginning of October, a total of 17 prospective executives will start the approximately 18-month training program that was launched two years ago by the German Football League (DFL) and the German Football Association (DFB).

In addition to Schalke icon Asamoah and BVB legend Weidenfeller, there are also ex-professionals like Niko Bungert, Peter Niemeyer, Sebastian Freis and Tim Kister. There are also three women in Daniela Danzeisen (SC Freiburg), Nadja Kischkat (Hamburger SV) and Christina Pohlers-Saß (VfL Wolfsburg).
