Rock legend Tina Turner (83) is dead! The British media report.
According to the Daily Mail, the singer died peacefully after “a long illness at her home in Switzerland.” A spokesman told the magazine: “With her, the world is losing a music legend and role model.”
According to reports, the funeral will take place among close family and friends.
The music legend was born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939 in Nutbush (Tennessee, USA). She became known in the late 1960s as a singer alongside her husband Ike, and later became world famous as a solo artist.
With mega hits like “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, “Private Dancer” and “The Best”, Tina Turner sang her way into the hearts of millions of people around the world.
