League’s top earners: MLS publishes Messi’s salary

Superstar Lionel Messi is, unsurprisingly, the highest-paid professional soccer player in North America Major League Soccer (MLS). They have now published his salary.

The numbers show that the 36-year-old offensive player is at his club Inter Miami 20,446,667 annually U.S. dollar earned, the equivalent of around 19.3 million euros. Behind him are Italy’s European champion Lorenzo Insigne (32). Toronto FC with 14.5 million euros and the former Bayern professional Xherdan Shaqiri (32) from Chicago Fire with 7.7 million euros.
