In the last two seasons the alternation has involved Strakosha and Reina. This year could be repeated with the goalkeepers taking their place
It will be a revolving door, as it has been for the past two seasons. Both in 2020-21 and in 2021-22 Lazio started the championship with a starting goalkeeper, then ending it with another as number 1. In 2020 it was Strakosha who lost the place in favor of Reina, while in the following season the contrary. Now both have left Lazio which, as a result, are looking for two new goalkeepers. In this sense, the club is ready to close for Luis Maximiano of Granada and Ivan Provedel of Spezia.
The situation

Maximiano is a Portuguese born in 1999 that Lazio are trying to borrow with the right of redemption. The whole operation could bring to Granada (just relegated) a figure close to 7 million. Provedel’s share price is slightly lower. The 28-year-old from La Spezia is valued between 3 and 4 million euros. He would not want to go to Lazio to make the second but in that sense he was reassured: the two goalkeepers would play for the place and alternate in the league and in the Europa League. From the start there would be no fixed and irremovable holder. This is also to ensure that both arrive with the right incentives to do well. The door to Lazio with Maximiano and Provedel would be revolving. A bit like it has been in the last two seasons.
