After three league defeats in a row and the elimination from the Champions League against FC Bayern, Lazio Rome coach Maurizio Sarri has resigned from his position. The Biancocelesti announced this on Wednesday. In a short message, the club thanked the 65-year-old and entrusted his assistant coach Giovanni Martusciello with the tasks. Sarri, whose working paper would have been valid until 2025, is leaving the Serie A club after almost three years and 137 games with an average points average of 1.67 points.
