President Lotito arrived in Formello around 9pm, having been expected since late afternoon. The president has not yet formally accepted Sarri’s resignation, an act which he will do shortly, then he will meet the team. With Sarri, who left the Biancoceleste sports center in mid-afternoon, he had had various telephone conversations since the early hours of the morning. There was therefore no need for a further meeting.

The hypothesis (pro tempore) of his deputy, Giovanni Martusciello, takes shape for his replacement. Sarri’s staff (made up of six people) did not in fact resign.
