NBA fined Utah Jazz for resting Lauri Markkanen.

On Wednesday, the Basketball League has fined Utah Jazz $ 100,000 because the team has not scared Lauri Markka in recent matches. According to the NBA announcement, Markkanen’s absence broke the rule of participation in the league, which prohibits excessive resting of star players without an acceptable condition.

The NBA says in the announcement that it will give Utah Jazz a fine because Markkanen was not available against the Washington Wizards on March 5.

Markkanen has not played since February 22nd. He was listed as an uncertain player due to a lower back injury and has been on the sidelines from the previous nine matches.

Markkanen returned to the UTAH Jazz -playing line -up on Thursday night against Memphis Grizzlies. He knocked 14 points and six rebounds in the game.
