The Finnish basketball team toppled 97-88 in the preparatory training match for the Polish European Championships. The match was played on Polish soil.
The torque remained tight for a long time, and after two rounds the difference was 45-41 to the advantage of Susijeng. Finland stretched the difference to more than ten points in the third round.
Susijengi led the match at its best by 18 points, but the Poles narrowed the divorce to 11 at the end of the third period.
In the third period Igor miličić commanded to the shower. He repeatedly criticized the judges during the match.
Poland picked up momentarily after the coach’s shower command and was defended by Finland’s attacks, but this joy was momentary.
Susijeng and the whole match were overwhelmed by Finland’s NBA superstar Lauri Markkanen28 Jyväskylä’s man knocked 42 points in the match. He also grabbed 12 rebounds.
Finland will face Poland next Thursday in another training match.
The European Championships for Basketball will begin on August 27. Finland plays its own matches in Tampere. In his first match, Susijengi will face Sweden on the opening day of the tournament.
