In a mountaineering accident in Pakistan who died Laura Dahlmeier searches Jackson Marvell told AFP news agency about his experience. Marvell’s comments were reported by German Die Welt.
A former biathlon star died at the age of 31 at the end of July when he was climbing in the Karakorum Mountains.
– I found Laura Dahlmeier’s body. I noticed that he no longer had signs of life. He was no longer alive, Marvell said.
Difficult weather conditions hindered the search, and as a result, it took days to find an Olympic winner.
Risks
Dahlmeier’s body is left on Laila Peak.
“Applying for a body is possible, but it involves terrible risks both on foot and on a helicopter,” Marvell comments.
Dahlmeier died after getting under a stone.
– There were changes on the mountain in the last two days. The rocks fell significantly, Marvell knew.
