There should be a massive grandstand closure, it’s outrageous what people are doing…

Otherwise, I wanted to write about wasted life, but in the end you can come up with the phrase: “Playing for a top team”.
Stuttgart apart from acting only with harmless finishes, Dortmund nothing until 0:1.
Actually a 0-0 game of the worse kind – but after the many small mistakes in throw-in decisions and fouls, you were slightly delighted that it wasn’t just a trivial matter…

Now space 2 should be safe – very nice!

If a “top team” has to park the bus for 89 minutes, then it’s not one. Just wait, VfB is still coming.

What’s going on with the Stuttgart community here on TM in general? Is it just the loud users who attract particularly unpleasant attention and thus overshadow the normal fans, or is it ultimately a certain cross-section? Some of the comments you have to read here are difficult to understand. Unfortunately, some people are now used to this, since Stuttgart has been playing higher up again after a long absence and even a spell in the second division.

Firstly, BVB can play as they see fit. Just because Dortmund is one of the top teams in the Bundesliga doesn’t mean that you have to play stars from heaven in every game. Atletico Madrid has been the best example for years of how destructive play can lead you to the top.

Secondly, in the end you will be responsible for it yourself if you receive a double blow in the last few minutes. That’s exactly what separates a good team from a really top team.

When Leverkusen had their historic playing time in the championship season, Dortmund also defended very deeply and disciplined for over 90 minutes and took a draw. To date, something like this has been very rare in the Westfalenstadion. Leverkusen, both the fans and those in charge, saw this as a compliment to their own strength at the time, because even strong opponents had so much respect.

It is precisely this serenity that some people seem to be missing here. Maybe you shouldn’t just look at your opponent, but also critically question your own team.
And the fact that you are now “on the rise” will definitely give the rest of the league sleepless nights…

How on earth is this supposed to be a “cross section”?

I really don’t expect any intellectual flights of fancy on tm, but the fact that users constantly use comments from other users who are above it, summarize them, and then make an assessment of a fan camp based on that, while you not only ignore all the completely factual comments, but also have no overview at all of the total number of users (as no one here actually does) who have commented or not commented on topic XY, that’s just totally tiring and completely wrong.

Speaking of spiritual flights of fancy, when you look at the scenes in the stadium, the impression that something is wrong with you unfortunately becomes more and more confirmed. I could also talk about personal experiences in Stuttgart over the years, but let’s just stick to this game, because that’s actually enough.

Parts of your ultras stand in front of the gang, insult and threaten the BVB players, even though they were basically just cheering normally. With Adeyemi it can still be debated whether the first cheers were a bit provocative. Even then, that doesn’t justify such behavior on the part of the fans. During the second celebration there was nothing provocative at all, apart from obviously bruised egos in the stands.

Already at the first goal, beer cups and other objects fly from close range, at the second even chairs and some jump over the barrier to the boards. At this point, you really don’t need to be surprised about criticism anymore.

It’s just sad what’s going on there. That wasn’t a good picture for the club. I can only hope that it will be properly sanctioned.

edit: For me, Demirovic also represents the aggressive and unsportsmanlike way Stuttgart people interact with others. From my point of view, it is difficult to understand what he has been doing over and over again for years, on the pitch and in front of the microphone. Unfortunately, it’s not surprising that some fans base themselves on such an appearance.
