Last year’s winner Ons Jabeur has canceled her start at the WTA Masters in Madrid, which begins on Tuesday.
“I have a small tear in my calf and I need some time to recover,” said the Tunisian. Jabeur sustained the injury at the tournament in Stuttgart.
In the semifinals she had to give up against the eventual winner Iga Swiatek (Poland) last Saturday with a score of 0:3.
