In the statement made by the TFF, it was stated that Salih Özcan, who played for Borussia Dortmudn, was removed from the squad due to injury. It was stated that İsmail Yüksek and Tolga Ciğerci were included in the staff instead of Özcan.

“A change has been made in the candidate roster of our A National Team, which has started to gather at the TFF’s facilities in Riva for the matches to be played against Luxembourg and Faroe Islands in the UEFA Nations League. Borussia Dortmund’s team, which started to meet in Riva, was found to have bone edema in the foot during the controls made after the match against Schalke 04. While Salih Özcan was removed from the candidate squad, Tolga Ciğerci from Ankaragücü and İsmail Yüksek from Fenerbahçe were included in the candidate squad of the A National Team.
