Last Leie bridge installed in Kortijk

The bridge was already sailed ashore in the early hours of the assembly site to Bissegem, a few kilometers away, to be sailed into the site of the old bridge. Thanks to the new bridge, Bissegem and Marke will be reconnected, although you will have to wait until the first half of 2023 before you can really cross the bridge.

The bridge between Bissegem and Marke is also the last new Leie bridge on Kortrijk territory. The bridges in Wevelgem and Menen and four bicycle bridges will follow shortly.
