A large tree fell over three o’clock on Saturday afternoon on the Moergestelseweg in Oisterwijk. As far as we know, nobody was injured. The tree blocks the road and two cycle paths. It is unclear what the tree is felled. A lamppost was damaged at the fall.
Both the fire brigade and the municipality of Oisterwijk have been engaged. Together they ensure that the road and the cycle paths are released again. The tree will be chopped in stuff. The municipality also looks at the damaged lamppost. The tree stabbed at the intersection of the Hoevenseweg and the Moergestelseweg.
Earlier this week, a branch of a tree broke spontaneously in Oisterwijk. That happened at the Huysacker.
