All games of the women’s basketball league are canceled this weekend. That means Landslake Lions won’t be in action either. This has no further consequences for Den Helder Suns. The league leader was already free due to the odd number of teams in the competition.
Corona is the culprit of this complete cancellation. For example, there are currently four infections at Landslake Lions. “We have agreed with all clubs from our competition that the match will be canceled in the event of three or more infections,” says Tine de Wit of Landslake Lions. The team from Landsmeer would visit Jolly Jumpers in Tubbergen. “At the moment I don’t know when this match will be overtaken.”
The Landslake Lions cup match against Martini Sparks was canceled on Thursday either. Then it was the opponent from Groningen who was struggling with the necessary infections.
