The race was held over 71 laps at the 4,309-meter Jose Carlos Pace Track in Sao Paulo.
Norris, who started the race from the pole position and finished first with a time of 1 hour 32 minutes and 01.596 seconds, won the seventh race of the season.
Mercedes’ Italian driver Kimi Antonelli came in second, 10.388 seconds behind the leader, and Red Bull’s Dutch pilot Max Verstappen came in third, 10.750 seconds behind the leader.
Ferrari’s Monaco driver Charles Leclerc retired from the race as a result of Antonelli’s car crashing on the 8th lap of the race.
The 22nd leg of the season, the Las Vegas Grand Prix, will be run on Sunday, November 22.
