The pop star’s seventh record could possibly see the light of day in February – but Gaga is still keeping a low profile.

Lady Gaga is preparing for a new musical era that fans around the world are eagerly awaiting. There have been hints of her seventh studio album for almost a year now, but concrete details are still a long time coming. Now there is an uncontextualized countdown on their official website that could be related to their album release.

Although neither the title (well, working title LG7) nor the tracklist are known, the 38-year-old pop icon announced in an interview with “Vogue” that the album will be released in February 2025 – but the exact release date remains secret. And even now Gaga is keeping a low profile…

Wait until January 27th – for now

The countdown on Gaga’s website ends on Monday, January 27th. What exactly could be revealed behind this countdown end remains unclear – but a look at the page gives rise to speculation. If you look closely, you’ll see the lettering changes every day – on January 21st it was “LG1”, a day later it was “LG2”. This sequential numbering could indicate that “LG7” will be written on January 27th. But is it possible that the singer will even release the album before February? Or what does it all mean?

What happened last

Lady Gaga has constantly developed her music and her art in recent years. Her still current project, the 40-minute album HARLEQUIN, was released in September 2024 and was inspired by her role as Harley Quinn in “Joker: Folie à Deux”. This work was unofficially titled “LG6.5,” a stopover between their previous 2020 LP, CHROMATICA, and the upcoming album.

Otherwise, in 2024 she also released the duet “Die With A Smile” with Bruno Mars and the joint song “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” with the Rolling Stones.
