Tonight at 10:00 pm, La 1 de TVE broadcasts the second special of ‘Masterchef’ dedicated to our elders, ‘Masterchef Abuelos’. For the second year in a row, the program pays tribute to all the grandparents of Spain. Rosario, José, Eduardo, María Luisa, Mari Carmen, Daniel, Lola, Inés, Rocío, Filomeno, Almudena and Andrés are the 12 chosen who fight for the trophy that accredits them as champion of MasterChef Abuelos and for 12,000 euros in cash.
Pepe Rodríguez, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Jordi Cruz accompany the veteran contestants on this adventure to appreciate their dishes and enjoy their wisdom. In addition to an emotional stop in Benidorm, the applicants receive the visit of brilliant guests such as Carmina Barrios, Juanma Castaño and Teresa, Juanma’s mother, and the winner and finalist of the first edition of MasterChef Abuelos: Guadalupe Fiñana and Aurelia Matallán. Finally, grandparents and grandmothers also receive the surprise of friends and family and, as always, a spectacular representation of great chefs such as Ricard Camarena, Toño Pérez, Pepa Muñoz, Ramón Freixa and Martin Berasategui, among many others.
