Elian Valenzuela, better known as L-Ghentonce again occupies the center of the media scene, this time due to a new scandal that occurred during his participation in the Spring Festival and founding anniversary of Roque Perez. The episode, which only recently became public, occurred on September 28, when the singer allegedly took a police officer’s motorcycle without authorization to evade the traffic jam that was generated after the free show that brought together some nine thousand people.

According to the complaint, the artist drove a short distance until he was detained and the vehicle recovered by security forces. The charge against him is for the crime of “attempted theft”, a minor criminal offense, although his judicial situation could worsen due to previous records. The singer is already facing a suspended sentence of three years in prison for coercive threats and damages, a ruling that has not yet become final because it has been appealed by his defense.

In addition, the artist accumulates other judicial and police episodes that marked his career. In June 2023, he had been arrested for alleged unlawful deprivation of liberty and threats with a firearm, after an altercation in General Rodríguez. He spent several days detained in a case that generated widespread media coverage before being released due to lack of merit. He also had public confrontations with police officers, complaints of riots and several media encounters that contributed to consolidating his image as a controversial figure within the musical environment.

Police journalist Mauro Szeta explained that the incident involving Roque Pérez occurred at the end of the recital, when the singer was trying to leave the place in the middle of the vehicular chaos. In this context, Valenzuela would have “untimely boarded the police motorcycle,” according to the complaint. After being intercepted, the agents managed to recover the motorcycle and notify him of the accusation. Although it is a less serious incident, the musician’s background could negatively influence the judicial treatment of the case if the case progresses.

Far from staying out of conflicts, the “Malianteo 420” interpreter also made an announcement about his career in recent days. On October 20, he announced that Maxi The Brother, its historic representative will no longer be part of its team. “I am beginning a new stage in my career,” said L-Gante on social networks, in the midst of a stage of professional and personal restructuring. The news coincided with his recent legal agreement with Tamara Baezmother of his daughter Jamaica, with whom he managed to close an extensive legal dispute through a new alimony quota pact.

During the same event in Roque Pérez, and in contrast to the episode that led to the complaint, L-Gante starred in a gesture that was celebrated by his followers. After throwing his T-shirt and sneakers to the audience, the singer invited a little fan to his dressing room and gave him one of his gold chains, valued at a considerable sum. The moment was recorded in images that quickly went viral, showing the artist placing the jewel on the child and then melting into an emotional hug.

Pochi, creator of the entertainment account Gossipeame, recounted the scene and highlighted the musician’s gesture: “They told me that Elian in Roque Pérez gave a chain to a boy, threw his shirt, shoes and walked away. A genius.” The episode, widely spread on networks, showed a more human side of Valenzuela, who seems to permanently oscillate between generosity and controversy. Thus, while facing a new judicial front, the artist continues trying to balance his public life between gestures of closeness to his fans and the recurring conflicts that put his career and his image to the test.
