Real Madrid recently had to make do without Kylian Mbappé. The superstar is apparently out for a longer period of time.
As the Spanish radio station “Cadena Ser” reports in its “Carrusel Deportivo” program, Mbappé will be out for three weeks. This means he will miss the league games against Getafe, Celta Vigo and Elche. Particularly bitter: The Royals will also be missing the superstar in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Manchester City.
Given this, even the second leg on March 17th seems like an ambitious goal. According to the report, Mbappé should be scheduled again for this important top game.
The superstar, who is currently Real Madrid’s top scorer with 38 goals in 33 games this season, is suffering from problems in his left knee. Because of this, he missed three competitive games in January. Although Mbappé celebrated a strong comeback, including two braces in the Champions League, the complaints apparently did not completely subside.
