Kiev (dpa -AfX) – Ukraine sees no willingness to be a diplomatic solution on the Russian side and has asked the West to deliver further arms and sanctions. “There is currently no room for compromises,” wrote the advisor in the presidential office, Mychajlo Podoljak, at Telegram. Moscow’s demands are out of the question because they would take Ukraine life capability. The Kremlin calls for regulations, disarmament and avoiding accession to the Military alliance NATO.
According to Podoljak, the only way is to force Russia into peace. “Peace will only occur if Russia can no longer attack,” said the consultant. Ukraine had repeatedly explained the goal of wanting to add such a military defeat to Russia that it could never wage war against another country again.
