Second division wants continuity
After the commercial director Michael Becker, his colleague responsible for sports, Oliver Kreuzer, has also extended his contract with Karlsruher SC ahead of schedule. As the second division club announced, the 56-year-old ex-professional is now bound until 2025 instead of 2023 as before. The club is thus “focusing on continuity at the management level,” according to a press release on Monday afternoon.
Kreuzer’s second term at KSC, before which he was sports director from 2011 to 2013, has now lasted since 2016. Since then, the club has had a positive transfer balance of 2.245 million euros. “With the promotion back in 2019 and staying up three times since then, we have achieved our sporting goals in the last four years. At the same time, we are also continuously developing the sporting area of KSC in terms of personnel and infrastructure in order to remain competitive and lay the foundation for a successful future,” said the former Bundesliga professional.
