The Karlsruher SC prevented its third defeat in a row at SV Elversberg. After a 0-2 deficit, the KSC equalized.
Due to the 2: 2 (1: 0) on Friday, both teams missed a jump and remain table neighbors. Karlsruhe is eighth, Elversberg is ninth. Both teams remain without a win in the new year, but at least scored their first point.
Lukas Petkov (44.) and Carlo Sickinger (50th, penalty) had met for Elversberg, Marvin Wanitzek was like a double pack for the KSC (75./85.)
SVE misses the decision
There was initially not much happened to the Kaiserlinde. The leadership of the Elversberger came out of nowhere. Petkow was unable to shoot through the legs of Marcel Beifus from an acute angle. After the change of sides, the hosts increased the pressure. Beifus brought Luca Schnellbacher in the penalty area. Sickinger safely converted. As a result, Elversberg missed several opportunities for decision.
The Karlsruher remained largely harmless. After the goal, the Badeners then took command. Wanitzek secured a counter with his second goal.
