KSC extends Weiß with “great goalkeeper talent” – moves up to the professional squad in the summer

Active for the U19

Karlsruher SC has provided goalkeeper talent Max Weiß with a long-term working paper. As the KSC announced on Friday, the 17-year-old from the U19s extended until 2026 and will move up to the professional squad in the coming season. Marius Gersbeck (26), Markus Kuster (27), Paul Löhr (21) and Niklas Heeger (22) are currently under contract with the second division team, but the contract for the latter three ends in the summer.

“Max is a great goalkeeper talent, which is an example of our close cooperation and high level of permeability between the KSC GRENKE Academy and the professional team. In the current season he has benefited enormously from the contact and training with the pros and has continued to develop. The professional contract is therefore the next logical step,” said KSC Sport Managing Director Oliver Kreuzer.
