Krösche defends Glasner-Aus near Frankfurt: “You will always offend people”

Even if I still think it’s a shame that the OG has to go, I can understand it – especially because of the point average and presentation in everyday Bundesliga life.

In the end, Krösche only confirms what many in the environment of Eintracht (e.g. I and many other forum members here, “Pro Glasner” profile pictures on Facebook, Twitter, etc.) have clearly shown since the announcement.

1. You are grateful to OG for what you have achieved and show this gratitude by giving him the rest of the season, or the opportunity/chance to make himself “immortal” again with a title (as if he wasn’t already that after EL ) close. By the way, just like Niko Kovac was given the possibility of a conciliatory end back then (which worked, hopefully again this year ).

2. Many will miss the man Oliver Glasner with us. In any case, he has “lost” neither fans nor dressing room. It was a justifiable decision “from above”, where you have to make uncomfortable decisions and can’t walk around with rose-colored glasses.

Nevertheless, here too, as with all the other news of the last few days, some users will comment that Eintracht would be so ungrateful and lifted off by the EL title. (to 1.), or some VFL Wolfsburg fans say “WE SAID SO!” (So to 2.), although it is a completely different situation than in Wolfsburg and, if possible, one would have liked to keep OG.

In the end, there is only one thing that is very unfortunate. That one reacts to OGs (sometimes unfortunate) PKs with the accusation of “external representation”, criticizes them, but expresses this publicly via non-club media. (Hellman)
And that they tried to present it as if part of the reason was the hesitation in extending the contract after an offer had been submitted… which Hellmann did exactly the same with the DFL request..

So from my point of view at least one person lost in this scenario. So apart from OG his job and the SGE their trainer. Namely Axel Hellmann. At least a little credibility.
Unfortunately, everything else was now foreseeable.
