The next guest of the upcoming Pitti Uomo has been determined.

Post Archive Faction (PAF) will take part in the Florentine men’s fashion fair as a guest designer, as the organizer Pitti Immagine announced on Monday. The label of the young Korean designer Dongjoon Lim and Sokyo Jeong is part of a prestigious list, because beforehand labels such as Marine Serre, Fendi, SS Daley and Maison Margiela have already presented their collections during the men’s fashion fair.

With the support of Pitti Immagine and the Korea Creative Content Agency, PAF, known for an aesthetics that challenges conventions and researches new techniques, materials and silhouettes, is presented with a event specially designed for the Pitti Uomo. This is supposed to be an insight into the new wishes of young consumers: giving inside and capturing the pulse of the latest global trends, beyond K-pop and social media hype, with references to archives, asymmetrical cuts, sporty solutions and experimental design.

According to Lapo Cianchi, director of communication and events at Pitti Immagine, the culture and aesthetics of South Koreas have been increasingly facing the culture and aesthetics. The South Korean market is not only a growing and important market for Italian fashion and the fair, but also offers an exciting environment for the scouting of a new generation of fashion designers: inside and young creative people who are characterized by versatility and the ability to combine different artistic languages and disciplines.

In addition to PAF, Homme Plissé Issey Miyake will also take part as a guest of honor in the next issue of the Pitti Uomo. This takes place from June 17th to 20th.
