Adventurer Koen Darras from Torhout has reached the top of Mount Denali. The mountain, located in Alaska and known for its extreme cold, is known as one of the most difficult climbs in the world. Temperatures can fall to far below -30 degrees.
Darras undertook the tour with an international team that consisted of experienced climbers. The expedition ran through its own designed course and had heavy weather conditions. One team member had to drop out early due to freezing symptoms.
