Heavy thunderstorms are expected both in North Holland and on the waters of the IJsselmeer area. These are accompanied by strong wind gusts of 75 kilometers per hour, hail of approximately 2 centimeters in size and precipitation of approximately 30 millimeters per hour.
These showers can cause local nuisance and damage due to lightning strikes, a lot of rain in a short time, gusts of wind and large hailstones. This can be very dangerous, especially for people on the water.
