PremiumWaiting lists of UWV grow by left self -employed: ‘If you as a doctor can ask 200 euros per hour, you don’t just give it up’
The UWV, which has been struggling with long waiting lists for years, has to do it with far fewer insurance doctors from 1 October. The doctors are all self -employed and choose to stay. The benefits agency no longer engages them, for fear of fines and additional taxes. As a result, thousands of sick employees have to wait longer for a WIA inspection.
