Terrible incident on Wednesday afternoon in a school on Mainzer Strasse in Berlin-Neukölln!
According to BZ information, two girls (7, 8) are said to have been stabbed in the Neukölln Evangelical School. One was critically injured, the other seriously. Both arrived at the hospital by helicopter.
According to initial information, numerous children who had to witness the crime were said to have been traumatized. The perpetrator was arrested. According to BZ information, it is an adult.
The perpetrators were arrested at the scene of the crime
The perpetrator was apparently waiting at the scene of the crime and was arrested by arriving police officers. A homicide detective is investigating. The public prosecutor’s office is also on site.
The back entrance of the school is currently cordoned off by the police. Parents stand in front of the main entrance and wait for their children. They are not allowed to leave the building yet.
