Midfielder Jens Castrop will no longer be able to play another game for the 1st FC Nürnberg. The 21-year-old, which changes in Borussia Mönchengladbach in summer for 4.5 million euros, suffered an external tape section in the right knee joint in the 2: 3 defeat against SC Paderborn, as the FCN announced on Easter Sunday.
Castrop had to be replaced after 18 minutes. In the current season, the native of Düsseldorf comes to three goals and four templates in 26 games. At the last market value update, Castrop doubled his personal stock from 3 million to 6 million euros, which is one of the most valuable players in the German lower house.
