FNV and CNV have announced a work break from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. for Wednesday, because they are angry that KLM has concluded a collective agreement with three other trade unions.
The passengers of the 119 flights are being converted to the next available flight, a KLM spokesperson told NH.
It is the third Wednesday in a row that ground staff puts down the work. Last Wednesday laid A large part of the staff down the work for four hours in the morning.
Trade unions FNV and CNV were not satisfied with KLM’s proposals on wage and employment conditions, so that ground staff decided to stop in a short time. As a result, thousands of passengers had to be turned.
On Wednesday 10 September the work was also deposited. This affected 27,000 passenger. They too have been rejected without exception, KLM reported.
FNV and CNV already tried to initiate a strike twice last summer, but were called back by the judge after KLM had filed summary proceedings. Due to the NATO summit and the holiday pressure, a strike would have too disruptive consequences, the judge ruled.
