Ten KLM return flights will be canceled tomorrow because of the bad weather. Today, 70 flights to and from the Amsterdam airport were canceled.
According to a spokesperson, passengers who have booked a canceled flight at the airline have all been informed. They are being converted to the first possible flight.
“That does not alter the fact that we find it very annoying for the people who are dealing with this,” said the spokesperson.
The KNMI has delivered code yellow for the entire day due to heavy gusts of wind and considerable rainfall. Yesterday it was announced that as a precaution, flights would be deleted after 9 a.m. Among those deleted flights are relatively many destinations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
