According to the spokesperson, it takes another two to three days for all KLM flights to go according to Scheme again.
Hundreds of KLM employees resigned this morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. FNV and CNV had called for that work break because they are angry about a collective agreement agreement that the airline concluded with three other trade unions.
Those unions speak of a ‘delivery agreement’, because inflation is higher than the wage increase. For the Hilton Hotel at Schiphol, employees met with banners and flags to enforce higher wages and better working conditions.
The strike went well today. All passengers whose flight was canceled have been rewarded, KLM says. Passengers flying with KLM next three days must also take delays into account.
New strike
FNV and CNV want soil staff from KLM to resign from work on 17 September, then from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. The spokeswoman cannot say anything about the possible impact of that action.
