Cesen’s victory secured

The 83rd minute of play in the series B game between Cesena FC and Us Salernitana runs, when the guests are awarded a penalty after 0: 0. Alberto Cerri starts and targets the lower left corner, from his point of view, but Jonathan Klinsmann can defuse the ball and bury it in the follow -up. Cesena ultimately wins 2-0 (0-0) through two late goals and secures important points in the promotion race, Salernitana remains penultimate.
After the final whistle, the celebrated hero of the Italian second division team was not Klinsmann himself, but Ball boy Ivan. The keeper asked this for his opinion during the Var examination. On the club’s social media channels, the conversation is shown as follows: “Which corner will he shoot in?” Asked the keeper. “I would jump to the right,” replied Ivan, whose council followed Klinsmann – successfully.
Immediately after the penalty held, Klinsmann turned to Ivan and pointed his finger on the ball boys. After the game there was a hug on the square and the worn jersey of the former Hertha professional also hiked into the hands of the grinning boy.
Klinsmann has been number one for the Serie B promoter since the end of October and can prove his skills between the posts instead of the previously untouchable Matteo Pisseri (33). In 19 missions he kept the zero six times and conceded 19 goals. After 28 match days, Cesena is in sixth place, which would entitle the promotion playoffs to participate.
