The Swedish mountain sports brand Klättermusen opened its first German shop in Munich. The 163 square meter shop is located on Sendlinger Straße, right next to Breuninger. The opening in Munich marks an important step for the further internationalization of the brand, according to the company in a press release. The store should not only serve as a sales room, but as a turntable for the local outdoor and creative scene, as a “place of discovery, connection and creativity, regardless of whether it unfolds in the mountains or in the middle of the city.”
Building on the success of the Klättermuse branches in London, Stockholm, Paris and Oslo, events should take place there, the makers: inside, storytellers: interior and innovator: bring together.
“Germany has always been an important market for Klättermusen and Munich is a logical choice, not only because of the access to the Alps, but also because of the way the Munich: Inside the physical adventure in the mountains combine with an innovative and creative spirit,” said Gonz Ferrero, CEO of Klättermusen. “This is not just about sport, but about the rhythm of the city, which ranges from traditional, Alpine -shaped craft, to music, to numerous subcultures and celebrates the act of exploration in all its forms. With this mentality, we can identify very well with Klättermusen.”
Klättermusen was founded in 1975 and has been relating to high -technical and more sustainable products for mountain sports for many years.
