Davy Klaassen “does not think it is possible” that fellow player Daley Blind was whistled by fans of Ajax. In several matches, the left back was whistled and there was booing in Groningen tonight.
Klaassen reacts to the flute concert together with trainer Ten Hag during the press conference. “I think that, also with regard to Daley, is not possible.” Ten Hag adds: “A player who has brought so much to the club, who has brought so much to Dutch football. I don’t think there is a player on the Dutch fields with the palmares like Daley Blind has.”
The fact that the left back is treated and criticized by his own fans does not sit well with Ten Hag. “I don’t think that is possible either. Then we have a lesson to learn from abroad. Players are approached with more respect there.”
