King Harald of Norway has been hospitalized, news reports VG.
The king is being treated for infection and dehydration. According to Hovi’s press release, his condition is known to be good.
The king is currently vacationing in Tenerife.
– The King’s personal physician travels to Tenerife to assist local healthcare. The royal couple is currently on a private holiday in Tenerife.
The king’s condition will be told in more detail on Wednesday, when the doctor has assessed the situation.
Harald turned 89 on February 21. The King visited the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in early February together with Queen Sonja.
There has been a lot of news about Harald’s health in recent years. A couple of years ago he got a pacemaker. Before this, the king had fallen ill in Malaysia.
– The situation was very serious. When a person approaching ninety receives antibiotics intravenously in the hospital, it is simply very serious, the doctor told NRK.
The Norwegian court has recently been rocked by the crown princess Mette-Marit’s Epstein connections and his son Marius Borg Høibyn litigation. Marius is accused of numerous crimes and his trial will last until March 19.
