Joshua Kimmich indicated a contract extension at FC Bayern that a corresponding decision is close.
“There will definitely be a decision for the next few days,” said Kimmich after the 2-0 victory in the round of 16 second leg in the Champions League near Bayer Leverkusen when asked whether his whereabouts would soon be announced to the record champions and added on request: “In the direction mentioned.”

Kimmich: “Have to get the ball over the line”
Bayern Munich’s sports director Max Eberl had previously said when asked about the status of the contract extensions: “We will take the thing volley. A ball has not been in the air for that long.” Kimmich emphasized this statement: “I want to join the words.”
The 30-year-old, who has been playing for Bavaria since 2015, explained: “It was of course difficult for the last few days because we also had a lot of games. The Max said it very nicely: Now we have to see that we are still getting the ball volley over the goal line together,” said the captain of the Defince national team.
