Radio Rock host Kim Sainio talks about his injury on his Instagram account.
Exceptionally, Saini was not heard on Monday, nor on Tuesday corporatein the program. On Monday’s broadcast, Sainio’s host colleagues Harri Moisio and Nanna Bhose talked about the reason for Sainio’s absence.

Kim Sainio was diagnosed with MS in 2006 and uses a tricycle to help him get around. From the social media post, it can be concluded that he fell while riding a tricycle.

In 2023, Sainio told Iltalehte how he started using a wheelchair, even though it seemed difficult to him before.
– At the same time I was shocked and at the same time my world was turned upside down, Sainio described his experience of using a wheelchair while traveling.
– For me, the final solution regarding the wheelchair has been surprisingly difficult.
– This disease and what it brings varies from day, month and year to year. I am now going through a phase where I need some kind of help to move, from a device or a person, he said.
MS disease is a disease of the central nervous system that affects the ability to exercise and function. There is no curative treatment for the disease, but nowadays the course and prognosis of the disease can be influenced by medical treatments.
