KIK Textiles and Non-Food GmbH orders Agnieszka Jaworska to the management with effect from November 1st. As managing director, she takes over the management for the areas of purchasing, range design and procurement.

“With Agnieszka Jaworska, we win a strong personality and experienced manager with decades of trade experience that fits Kik excellently and complements the management of the company very well,” said Christian Haub, chairman of the KiK partner Tengelmann Twenty-One KG.

New managing director with fashion and trade experience

The new shopping manager comes from the Pepco Group and brings experience from the areas of trade, discounter as well as textile and fashion.

Jaworska was active for the parent company of the discounter of the same name for around twelve years. Most recently, she worked as a Group Commercial Director at the company based in London. She also had roles such as Buying Director and Clothing Director. Before her time at Pepco, she worked for Orsay GmbH. She was Chief Commercial Officer from 2002 to 2013 at the German women’s fashion brand.

“Agnieszka Jaworska is a trading expert with body and soul,” said Kik-CEO Patrick Zahn. “She will significantly help shape the further course of KIK and help the company to remain a successful textile and non-food dealer through smart range strategies in the future.”

In addition to Jaworska and Zahn, CFO Christian Kümmel continues to belong to the company management.

The message follows after the farewell to Coo Dirk Ankenbrand, who ended Kik on July 1, “for personal reasons”.
