Defending champion THW Kiel will face current champions Füchse Berlin in an away game in the quarter-finals of the German Handball Cup. Flensburg-Handewitt is also expecting a hammer draw.
This was the result of the draw following the capital city team’s round of 16 game against ThSV Eisenach, which the Füchse won 38:22 (22:12) in the evening.
Volleyball national player Florian Krage-Brewitz from the Berlin Volleys drew another top duel with the encounter between the Champions League winner SC Magdeburg and the Bundesliga leaders SG Flensburg-Handewitt. In the remaining two games, Bergische HC will face MT Melsungen and SC DHfK Leipzig will face TBV Lemgo Lippe.
