Pihlajalinna, who supported the Mestis Society Kiekko-Vantaa, has terminated his cooperation agreement with Kiekko Vantaa Oy, which manages the club’s representative team.
– This information is true, Pihlajalinna’s Director of Communications and Responsibility Tuula Lehto tells Iltalehti.

-Well, at the moment, Kiekko-Vantaa does not match our values.
Kiekko-Vantaa caused a great buzz in early August when it said he had hired Teemu Pulkkinen, who had played in the KHL. The winger played in Russia for two more seasons even after the country began the brutal offensive war in Ukraine.
According to Lehdo, however, Pihlajalinna will continue to support the junior side of the Kiekko-Vantaa ry, the club.
