The Austrian kidswear retailer Emmas Boutique OG can no longer meet its ongoing payment obligations and has filed for bankruptcy.
The bankruptcy proceedings were opened at the responsible regional court in Innsbruck, the creditor protection association Alpine Creditors Association (AKV Europa) announced on Friday. Attorney Vanessa Pircher was appointed as administrator. Self-administration is not provided.
The retailer operated a brick-and-mortar children’s fashion store in Innsbruck. There was also its own online shop, which is already offline, as well as sales via the social media platform Instagram, where the company has been inactive since mid-September.
